To provide coaching and track your progress, we collect workout data including duration, intensity, heart rate, power output, cadence, and performance metrics from your connected devices or manual input.

Location Data

With your permission, we collect GPS data during outdoor rides to record your route, distance, speed, and elevation. Location data is only collected while you are actively recording a ride. You can disable this at any time in your device settings.

Usage Data

We collect data related to how you use the app, including your training history, progress metrics, coaching interactions, and participation in competitive features.

Connected Devices & Services

When you connect third-party devices or services (such as cycling trainers or fitness platforms), we access only the data necessary to provide training features. You can disconnect these at any time in the app settings.

We use your information to:

• Generate and adapt personalized training plans
• Provide AI-powered coaching and feedback
• Track your fitness progress and performance over time
• Power gamification and competitive features

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate Nivvy, including cloud infrastructure, AI services, and device integration partners. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy policies.

We do not use any third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or behavioral tracking tools.

Your data is primarily stored on your device. If you opt into cloud sync, your data is transmitted and stored using industry-standard encryption. Sensitive credentials are stored using your device's secure storage mechanisms.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share limited data in the following circumstances:

• With service providers necessary to operate the Service
• With other users as part of competitive features (e.g., your display name and ranking)

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your data from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Data stored locally on your device can be removed by deleting the app.
